Qobuz sat down with the duo’s Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn at their studio, Betty’s, in Chapel Hill, NC, for an interview exploring the album’s creative inspiration, the state of the live music industry, and even the foods they cannot stop thinking about. The first artist-ambassador video invites fans to listen to the album on Qobuz, with additional videos and updates to be released across Qobuz, Sylvan Esso and Psychic Hotline’s digital channels. Check out the first video HERE.

The collaboration will continue beyond the listening events with a forthcoming live album, already recorded during Sylvan Esso’s June 2026 residency at Los Angeles’ Sid the Cat Auditorium. Set to be released exclusively on Qobuz, the album, releasing on September 30, will capture the duo onstage, where they rehearsed with their expanded live band and debuted new material ahead of their North American tour in support of the new studio album.

Morgan Schaffner, Marketing Manager of Psychic Hotline, said: "Qobuz and Sylvan Esso share a deep belief in the value of intentional listening, and this partnership feels like a natural extension of that philosophy. We’re excited to create a space for fans to experience Ow ∞ with the depth and attention it deserves, while connecting Sylvan Esso’s music with an audience that truly values sound, discovery, and the album as an art form."

Dan Mackta, Managing Director for North America and Northern Europe at Qobuz, said: “Sylvan Esso are exactly the kind of artists Qobuz was made to champion. Ow ∞ is an album that rewards close listening, and we’re thrilled to help bring fans together to experience it in listening rooms around the world. With those communal events and a forthcoming live album available exclusively on Qobuz, this partnership will give listeners a deeper connection to Sylvan Esso’s music.”

Blending Meath’s singular vocals with Sanborn’s inventive electronic production, Sylvan Esso has built a devoted global following and emerged as one of electropop’s most distinctive and adventurous acts. The partnership reflects Qobuz’s ongoing mission to champion artists who value sound quality, independence, and musical craftsmanship while giving fans deeper ways to experience their work. It joins a growing slate of Qobuz exclusives that includes the return of yasiin bey’s acclaimed The Ecstatic to streaming, a forthcoming live version of Lucinda Williams’ World’s Gone Wrong, Bitchin Bajas’ Isle Peaks EP with Drag City Records, and more.
