Qobuz returns to We Out Here festival 2026 with artist-led Hi-Fi Listening Sessions and dedicated listening pod
Qobuz continues partnership with Gilles Peterson-curated event, bringing high-resolution listening experiences and conversations around music discovery
Paris, 20 August 2026 – Qobuz returns to We Out Here as the official Music Streaming Partner for the festival, bringing its focus on exceptional sound, artist curation and deeper musical discovery back to one of the UK’s most distinctive cultural events.
Building on its successful 2025 collaboration, Qobuz will once again host its Hi-Fi Listening Sessions at The Knowledge – the festival’s dedicated space for music technology, education and creative exchange – alongside a new, dedicated Qobuz listening pod designed for immersive, high-quality audio discovery throughout the weekend.
Qobuz Hi-Fi Listening Sessions at The Knowledge Across the weekend, Qobuz will present the Homeland to Here series at The Knowledge with three guest artists leading audiences through exclusive playlists of key tracks from their respective musical journeys. This year’s guest artists are Ruby Savage, Atjazz and Tara Lily, each joining audiences to share the music, influences and stories that have helped shape their sound.
Confirmed sessions:
Ruby Savage, Friday 21 August, 6pm—7pm
Atjazz, Saturday 22 August, 6pm—7pm
Tara Lily, Sunday 23 August, 6pm—7pm
Each session will see an artist share their specially curated playlist. The selections will be played in lossless, high-resolution audio through a dedicated listening system supported by London hi-fi specialist Audio Gold and renowned audio brand Audio-Technica, followed by a live conversation exploring the stories and influences behind the selections.
The three artist-curated Homeland to Here playlists are available on Qobuz:
• Homeland to Here with Ruby Savage: Listen on Qobuz
• Homeland to Here with Atjazz: Listen on Qobuz
• Homeland to Here with Tara Lily: Listen on Qobuz
The official We Out Here 2026 playlist is also available on Qobuz: Listen on Qobuz
Dedicated listening pod
Together with the talks, festivalgoers can step into the Qobuz listening pod – a purpose-built space situated alongside the live talks within the tent and equipped with Audio-Technica headphones – to experience curated playlists and explore the Qobuz catalogue in high-resolution audio. Offering a moment of pause within the festival, the listening pod gives listeners the opportunity to experience high-quality audio through familiar favourites and new discoveries.
Exploring the future of music discovery
Qobuz will also join a panel discussion exploring the future of music consumption and the changing ways audiences discover and engage with music. Euan Decourt, UK Music Content & Label Relations Manager at Qobuz, will join Aaron Skates, founder of Cantilever, and Sami Hayes, co-founder of Shai Space and Grounded, for the discussion at The Knowledge Stage at 2pm on Friday 21 August.
The partnership will continue beyond the festival, with Qobuz and We Out Here collaborating on artist-led content, including playlists and editorial storytelling inspired by the sessions.
We Out Here
Taking place from Thursday 20 August to Sunday 23 August at Wimborne St Giles in Dorset, We Out Here is curated by BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Gilles Peterson and celebrates a diverse spectrum of music spanning jazz, soul, electronic, broken beat and global rhythms.
Known for its adventurous programming and commitment to independent culture, the festival has become a key fixture in the UK music calendar, bringing together artists, audiences and creatives from across the world. The 2026 event sold out a record four months in advance of the festival, marking its earliest ever sell-out.
A word from Dan Mackta of Qobuz
“We Out Here brings together a brilliantly passionate music community, making it a natural partner for Qobuz,” said Dan Mackta, Managing Director for North America and Northern Europe at Qobuz. “Our Hi-Fi Listening Sessions are about giving artists a platform to share the music that inspires them, while this year’s listening pod lets audiences experience music in exceptional sound quality. We’re excited to be back and continue building this relationship.”
A word from We Out Here Co-Founder, Joe Barnett
“Really pleased to be extending our partnership with Qobuz for another year. This year’s activity is based around our shared values of superior sound quality, music curation and offering an alternative to the status quo of audio streaming and music consumption. This year’s hosted playlists offer that deeper insight into some of our artists.”
