Qobuz teams up with Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals to sponsor official aftershow benefits
Paris, 10 July 2025 – Qobuz, the high-quality music streaming and download platform for audiophiles and music lovers, is expanding its U.S. presence this summer with partnerships at both the Newport Folk Festival and the Newport Jazz Festival.
At Newport Folk, Qobuz will serve as the official presenting partner for late night aftershows taking place on Friday, July 25th and Saturday, July 26th in downtown Newport at the Parlor. The bill includes performances from The Deslondes with Langhorne Slim, and Chaparelle with Hayes Carll. All proceeds will benefit the Newport Festivals Foundation.
At Newport Jazz, Qobuz will also support aftershows at the Parlor Bar & Kitchen as an official supporting sponsor on August 1st and 2nd, 2025. The bill includes performances by Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and Julius Rodriguez and Friends.
Qobuz sets itself apart by delivering the ultimate music experiences for its dedicated community of listeners including exclusive compilations and releases, expert-curated playlists, editorial content, live events, and best-in-class partnerships. This summer marks Qobuz’s first-ever partnership with Newport Festivals Foundation, which is just one of the many music-first partnerships Qobuz has forged in recent years, including collaborations with The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, UK, Audio Expo North America (AXPONA), Festival Bach Montréal, the renowned Jazz label ECM, Sam First Records in LA, the Chicago-based indie label International Anthem, and more.
