Paris – 27 March 2026 – Qobuz, the independently owned high-quality music streaming and download platform, has announced a new collaboration with influential three-time GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams, bringing fans worldwide a range of exclusive content and offerings on the platform. The initiative will kick off with a live version of Williams’ critically acclaimed new album World’s Gone Wrong, which debuted earlier this year as a raw and unapologetic response to the socio-political chaos surrounding us. The album is set to arrive on Qobuz soon, with the release date and full details to be confirmed shortly. Fans can look forward to more exclusives as the tie-up continues.
Qobuz’s partnership with Lucinda Williams continues the platform’s “Boutique in a Superstore World” approach, connecting passionate listeners with artists through exclusive content, high-resolution audio, and thoughtful editorial storytelling, all in one place. The collaboration reflects Qobuz’s ongoing mission to champion artists who value sound quality and musical artistry while offering fans deeper ways to experience their work.
This latest venture joins Qobuz’s growing slate of exclusive initiatives and partnerships, including Drag City (Bitchin Bajas), Sun Records (Johnny Cash), Sam First Records’ live-to-record series (Anthony Wilson, Rachel Eckroth, Devin Daniels); International Anthem’s Qobuz series (Makaya McCraven, Alabaster DePlume with Jeremiah Chiu & Marta Sofia Honer, and more); Qobuz’ live-to-EP SXSW showcases (Yazmin Lacey, Shana Cleveland, Miss Grit, Cosmo Pyke, Caramelo Haze, and Barrie); and other releases in partnership with Dinosaur Jr., Circuit des Yeux, Christian McBride, Frank Zappa, and more.
“Someone turned me on to Qobuz because of their attention to the quality of the sound. The more I explored it, the more I agreed,” said Lucinda Williams. “It’s simply the best audio, and who wouldn’t want to listen to music that way? They pay better than any other streaming service as well. I’m excited to partner with them and share some exclusive material with fans.”
Qobuz’s VP, Music + Editorial (US, CA, UK, AU/NZ, Nordics) Sujan Hong added: "It's an honour to work with such a singular and genuine talent like Lucinda Williams to superserve her fans and the Qobuz community. Music doesn't get any realer."
