Qobuz and ACT Music Partner for the First Time on a Worldwide Collaboration
Paris, April 17, 2025 - Qobuz, the pioneering French platform for high-quality streaming and downloading, today announces an international partnership with the renowned German jazz label ACT Music, highlighting the exceptional musical heritage of the independent label founded by Siggi Loch in 1992.
The collaboration will offer an enriched musical experience on Qobuz including playlists selected by Qobuz’ team of music experts, exclusive editorial content, and videos featuring iconic artists from tthe ACTMusic catalog. Music lovers will also be able to enjoy a plethora of download offers from the German label's rich catalog, with the majority of titles available in 24-bit high-resolution quality.
This initiative will enable listeners to (re)discover major talents on the contemporary jazz scene such as Nils Landgren, Wolfgang Haffner, Youn Sun Nah, Emile Parisien, Vincent Peirani, Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.), Michael Wollny, Joachim Kühn, Bill Laurance, Emma Rawicz, and many other artists who have contributed to the label's international reputation.
This partnership follows several impressive collaborations initiated by Qobuz in recent years with other iconic labels including Blue Note, Deutsche Grammophon and ECM Records. The French music platform reinforces its position as a leader in original, high-quality musical content.
The campaign will be deployed across the entire Qobuz ecosystem: the streaming applications, Qobuz Magazine, and the download store, with up to 30% off select albums. Exclusive content including carefully crafted playlists and artist videos paying tribute to the label will gradually be unveiled to Qobuz subscribers.
