Would you like to hear your Qobuz music in Hi-Res on your iPhone or iPad? Well, it is now possible!
Qobuz has just released a new version of ‘Qobuz Music’ on the App Store. This newest version includes the long-awaited Hi-Res Streaming function, alongside the ability to import and play your Qobuz Hi-Res purchases.Qobuz Sublime subscribers can stream their purchases in Hi-Res, and import their music into the app. Those who are not yet subscribed to Qobuz Sublime can still benefit from importing their purchases in Hi-Res.How is it possible to listen to Hi-Res Qobuz music on iOS?You need a Lightning-Adapter for your Apple USB dock, as well as a compatible, self-powered DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter). First, you must connect the Lightning-Adapter to your Apple device, and then connect the USB cable to the same Lightning-DAC.As far as your choice of DAC is concerned, you can gain some inspiration through the Hi-Res Guide on our website. We have already tested a variety of DACs, including the ENCORE MDAC, and the iFi Audio iDSD Nano (of which the latter is, unfortunately, only available on our French version thus far.
